The Practice

Professional Background

During my medical studies, I began to take an interest in the application of psychedelics in psychiatry. In 2014, I worked at the addiction outpatient clinic INDIT in Hungary on an early warning and risk assessment system for new psychoactive substances.

Between 2014 and 2017, I was part of the Party Aid organization at the O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, serving as shift leader from 2015 to 2017. In this role, I led an interdisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, social workers, and students, and supported people experiencing challenging psychedelic experiences.

I wrote my thesis in 2016 at the University of Pécs (Hungary) on the topic “Drug-Induced Psychoses.” In it, I compared acute psychedelic crises with drug-induced psychoses in psychiatric acute care units.

In the years 2016–2017 and 2019, I also researched the traditional uses of ayahuasca in Peru and Brazil.

I completed my psychiatric specialist training in Germany (ZfP Winnenden and Johanniter Hospital Oberhausen) as well as in Austria at Landesklinikum Baden. I received my specialist diploma in 2024. After the specialist examination, I worked at Landesklinikum Baden as a senior physician until opening my practice. Currently, I also work part-time at PSD Wiener Neudorf.

Since 2024, I have been moderator of the Mental Health Section of the MIND Foundation, where, together with my co-moderator, I initiated and conducted a lecture series on the current state of research and study findings on less-published psychedelic studies during the 2024–2025 academic year.
